Thunder celebrating the win

On October 12, the NCMS football boys traveled to Sabetha, for their last game of the season. The boys were fired up to beat their rivals as they did last year.

The Thunder kicked off to Sabetha to start the game. In the start of the game, Dason Hill got injured. Carter Stallbaumer made the first touchdown to make the score 8-0. In the third quarter, the Bluejays scored a touchdown to make it 8-8. Carter Stallbaumer scored another touchdown to make it 14-8. There were 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Thunder boys stopped the Bluejays at the two-yard line.

“It was a hard-fought game with injuries, but we came through at the end,” said Cole Ranieri.

“Tough and rough, but thankfully we got the win,” said Kollin Wagner.

“At first we didn’t do great, our defense stepped up and stopped them. At the end we got the win,” said Trent Stuke.

Congratulations boys to another victorious season. Even though you weren’t undefeated, you still played hard to get the Big 7 League Champion title again this year.
