On September 21, the NCMS Thunder Volleyball took on Hiawatha. The 8th grade A team won their first set 25-15. They continued to play hard on the court and ended their second match with another stunning victory of 25-9. The girls played a third match and won 25-10.

Following A team was the 8th Grade B team. They won their first match 25-12. The second match was won in an amazing victory of 25-5. However, the battle in the third set was pretty close but ended with a win 15-12. Overall, great job 8th grade girls!
7th grade A team hung close to the Hawks in each of their matches. Unfortunately, they lost all three matches: 18-25, 22-25, 11-15. After the 7th grade A team game, the B team played the Hawks in three matches. They lost the first and second match with a score of 16-25 both times. The girls kept up their energy but ended up losing in their third match 15-10.
Overall, the girls played hard on the court and brought home a couple of victories.
