On Sep 14, 2023, The Nemaha Central Thunder battled the Jeff West Tigers. The game started with a kick return to the 50-yard line. After running a few more plays Cole Ranieri had a touchdown pass to Cormik Hajek making it six to zero. Then, the Thunder scored the two-point conversion making it eight to zero. The Thunder scored again with a touchdown pass from Cole Ranieri to Carter Stallbaumer and made the two-point conversion. Making it 16 to 0. They came right back with a touchdown for themselves. Then the Thunder stopped them on the two-point conversion. Making it 16 to 6 with the Nemaha Central Thunder ahead. The score at halftime was 16 to 6. In the second half, the Thunder scored one last time with a kick return touchdown from Dason Hill and made that two-point conversion. They came right back and scored with a long play but the Thunder stopped them on the two-point conversion. At the end of the game, the Thunder came out victorious with a win over Jeff West. 24 to 12.
