The Nemaha Central Middle School cross country team had their first meet at Marysville on September 2nd. Korah Koch is the only cross country runner for NC middle school this year. Middle School cross country participants run two miles at a meet. At practices, they practice running various distances around town or the track to get a feel for different terrains.
“I thought for the first meet we ran well”, said Mr. Jon Thomas.
Korah finished with a time of 16:41.36. She finished less than a second after the runner in front of her. The next Cross Country meet is Monday, September 11th in Jackson Height at 4:00pm.
