The Nemaha Central transitional kindergarten students went to the Bern City Park on Wednesday, May 10 for their field trip. The park is just up the road in Bern, so it is a great place to explore and play.
Upon arrival, the students eagerly entered the park area. The students explored the park and had fun on the multiple slides, climbing areas, and swings. After playing for a while in the morning, the students ate lunch with their friends. Once they finished lunch, the transitional kindergarten students explored the park area once again. Then it was time to return to the school for the end of the school day.
The students returned to school exhausted from this enjoyable day out of the classroom.
