Toys, Fidgets, Electronic Devices and other items from home can be a distraction to others. Please help us limit these items at school. For sensory needs, counselors will work with students, families and staff to develop a plan. Also attached is the bell to bell policy for cell phones and other smart devices during the school day. Get ready to rise & shine tomorrow NCEMS! A few reminders for a successful first day. Please do not drop off students before 7:30 am. At 7:30 am students may go to breakfast or to the gym. At 7:50 am, students may transition to their classrooms. Be sure to check out the lunch choices on Mrs. Koch's cart! Please do not exit and leave your vehicle unattended in the circle drives. If you intend to walk into the building with your student(s) please park in a parking lot spot. We have included a reminder of NCEMS Drop off and Pick Up procedures. Let's all drive slowly and carefully to help ensure a safe start to school.

Yellow Zone (4th–8th Grade): Vehicles enter from the west, follow a separate one-way route, and drop off 4th–8th-grade students at the curb. Students in this zone walk to the main doors. Additional instructions emphasize: Always be cautious and slow down. Drop students off curbside only. Ensure children are ready to exit before entering the parking lot.
