The Nemaha Central Middle School Lady Thunder basketball team was ready to take another road trip to Riverside to match up with the Cyclones on Thursday, November 3. The eighth-grade A-team went into the game looking to add some wins to their record. The seventh-grade A-team was looking to extend their undefeated record to 6-0! The eighth-grade B-team and the seventh-grade B-team played a combined game, as there weren't enough players from Riverside to play separate games.  They were looking to play well and also pick up a win.

The Thunder eighth-grade A-team started out the night with a good first quarter outscoring the Cyclones 7-4. The second quarter went even better with the Thunder scoring 8 more and the Cyclones only scoring 2, making the score at halftime 15-6.

The Thunder was ready to extend their lead and did just that scoring 8 more points. The Thunder's defense was strong not letting the Cyclones score any points in the quarter. Next up, was the seventh-grade A-team, who hoped to keep their undefeated streak alive. The night's final game was a combined B-team game with both the seventh and eighth grades. The Thunder girls were ready to dominate the Cyclones. The Thunder team came out scoring in the first quarter and only allowed Riverside a basket, making the first quarter score 6-2. NC came out a little slower in the second quarter allowing the Cyclones to score 11 as they fell short only scoring 4. The halftime score was 10-13 with a Cyclone lead.
