The Nemaha Central Transitional Kindergarten took this year’s class field trip to Bern on Monday, May 9. The class left school in the morning and arrived at the Bern park with beautiful weather. As the students got off the bus, they marveled at all the wooden playground equipment and dashed towards the park.
Vonn Krause said, “His favorite part was swinging on the swings.”
After playing until they were worn out, they sat down in the shelter house and ate lunch. When they were finished eating lunch, the re-energized kids got up and played some more. They left the park in the early afternoon and headed back to school.
Weston Griffith said, “I liked playing in the park.”
“I loved playing and the monkey bars,” Andi Reineke said.
