Overall, NCEMS track did really well, and many athletes placed. The eighth grade boys and girls both placed first as a team. The seventh grade girls got second place, and the seventh grade boys got third place.

On April 16, 2026, NCMS had its second track meet of the year at Marysville. It was a very hot and windy day making it hard to compete well. The teams present were Marysville, Rock Creek, Riley County, Beatrice, Nemaha Central, Sabetha, Valley Heights, and Lucky. The following are the results from the meet.

This was a really successful meet, and many athletes placed. Both the seventh and eighth grade boys placed third, seventh grade girls placed second, and eighth grade girls tied for first with Hiawatha with a score of 106 points. This was the first home meet, and the athletes are continuing to improve!
