The Nemaha Central first grade class headed over to Sycamore Springs in Sabetha on Thursday, May 1, 2025. The field trip was rescheduled from the day before due to the weather. The students enjoyed the bright and sunny day as they explored what Sycamore Springs had to offer.
Once they arrived, they quickly headed to the roller rink to roller skate. After that, they enjoyed different activities like miniature golf, wagon rides, hiking, and they even went on an afternoon walk to a well. These students enjoyed doing fun activities in the nice weather outside.
Hendrix Wilson said, ”It was fun and I liked roller skating.”
They finished the day with more outdoor activities like playing on the tree stumps, exploring nature, and swinging.
