Second Graders participating in the candy cane race

NCEMS Christmas Parties

On December 20th, Nemaha Central Elementary and Middle School celebrated Christmas by having classroom parties. Hallways and classrooms were filled with joy and laughter. NCEMS had a great time with their Christmas festivities!

Preschool

Preschool students decorated Christmas cookies, a paper gingerbread man, made elf hats out of paper, tossed pom pom balls (snowballs) into a bucket, played Christmas bingo, and watched a video about Silly Santa.

Kindergarten

The kindergarteners seemed to be having a blast at their Christmas party. The kindergarteners played a rain deer hoop game where they were “racking” up the points. They were having a “ball” doing bowling with pom poms and red solo cups. The kindergarteners channeled their inner creativity by decorating Christmas cookies. They ended their party by opening gifts from their teachers and Santa.
