On Monday, December 4, the NCMS wrestlers were on their way to the Big 7 League Championship wrestling tournament. The tournament was in Royal Valley.
For the 8th grade wrestling team, Will Deters won 2 matches and lost 1 placing 2nd. Cole Raneri won 2 of 5 matches placing 4th. Noah Hilbert won 2 matches and lost one putting him in 2nd place. Braden Macke won 1 match and lost 2 ending in 5th place. Landon Mady won 2 out of 5 matches landing in 4th place
For the 7th grade wrestlers, Kollin Wagner won 1 out of 5 matches placing 5th. Kaden Sperfslage won 1 match and then lost one placing 2nd. Tate Edelman won 4 out of 5 matches putting him in 2nd place. Hudson Kuckleman lost 2 and won 2 matches placing him in 3rd place. Tyson Beebe-Dishong lost all 3 of his matches ending in 2nd place.
Overall, all of our wrestlers had a good season and we are looking forward to next year.
