Kinsey #35 goes up for the shot

On November 6th, Nemaha Central Middle School Thunder Girls took on the Sabetha Blue Jays. All teams battled it out until the very end!

NC 7A won with the final score being 27-7. 7B also won with the final score being 14-8. The 7th-grade girls have made tremendous progress throughout the basketball season so far. Keep it up, girls!

8A came onto the court ready to play hard and do what they had to do to get the win. The final victory score was 31-15. 8B was also super fired up and ended up winning with the final score being 34-18! It was a clean sweep for the Thunder! 

Each team showed passion, talent, and determination while on the court facing the BlueJays, no matter what they threw at them! 

Olivia Hermesch from 7th grade said, “We played our very hardest to win and we did!” 

Kynley Enneking from 8th grade said, “It was a rough game but we pushed through it and won.”

 

Alexis Bebe-Dishong from 8th grade said, “had a tough first half but pulled through in the end.”

Piper Hiltgen from 7th grade said, “They played with their hearts and it showed.”

It was a bad day to be a BlueJay!
