On October 5th, NCMS football boys took the win against the Riverside Cyclones. NC was in the lead 8-0 by the first quarter. Dason Hill not only scored the first touchdown, but also every touchdown in this football game. It was a tough fight for a while for the Thunder as the Cyclones scored a couple of touchdowns.
The Thunder and Cyclones were tied 14-14 by halftime. Dason eventually scored again which put NC in the lead. After several plays back and forth, the Thunder ended up winning the game with a victory score of 28-14.
Our middle school football team had a great night taking victory and can’t wait for their next game which will be held October 12th at 4:00pm against the Sabetha Bluejays.
