David Pierson from the KSU Wildcat Wind Team visited the Earth/Space Science and Engineering classes in Amy Schmitz’s room this week.
He shared information about the different forms of energy that are produced and sent to consumers. Additionally, he discussed his involvement on campus and how that's boosted his networking opportunities for his future career.

Two members from the Nemaha Central FFA Chapter were announced as recipients. Dane Haverkamp was the recipient of a grant from Meghan Mueseler. Her support of Kansas FFA will allow Dane to continue his SAE in Ag Service. Dane owns and operates Triple H Custom Hay, and cuts and bales forage crops for surrounding farmers in Nemaha County.
Addie Haverkamp was also a recipient of a SAE grant from Kansas Soybean. Addie’s supervised agricultural experience is a commercial sheep production operation. This grant will help her operation get off the ground and running.
