The NCHS Thespians have begun rehearsals for MURDER ON THE NILE, a radio show, a murder mystery, and a dinner theater! This play is based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel Death on the Nile.
Kay Ridgeway has led a charmed life. Blessed with beauty, enormous wealth, and a new husband, she embarks on a honeymoon voyage down the Nile. Fatal circumstances await when the idyllic surroundings are shattered by a shocking and brutal murder. Under scrutiny is a multitude of memorable passengers, all with a reason to kill. The tension and claustrophobia builds, as a shocking and audacious conspiracy is laid bare.
MURDER ON THE NILE premieres Saturday, December 4 at 6pm and Sunday, December 5 at 2pm on the NCHS stage. For this production, both performances are dinner theater! Saturday’s 6pm meal will be dinner salad, smothered steak, twice-baked casserole, green beans and corn, dinner roll, chocolate layered dessert, and iced tea and water. On Sunday we will serve brunch at 2pm: fruit, cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole with coffee and water. Both meals will be catered by Home Cookin’.
Dinner theater tickets are $17, payable to NCHS Theater. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! Email Angelia Steiner at asteiner@usd115.org or call/text her at 785.294.2087.
