To keep you informed about the latest confirmed cases of COVID-19 in either students or staff at USD #115 Nemaha Central Schools we will be sending out a daily email at 5:00 pm each day as well as publishing information on our website. As of 11/20/2020, we have had zero new cases involving students at either NCEMS or at NCHS. We had one new positive case in staff at NCEMS and zero new cases at NCHS in staff. The NCEMS staff member was in quarantine so no close contacts occurred at school. Please note that none of the active cases from today or in the past can be traced back to transmission at any Nemaha Central facility.
The district will remain vigilant with the use of masks, hand sanitation, and use of social distancing at school and hope that students, parents, and community members will do the same in the community to help us continue to keep kids in school as well as help reduce the strain on our medical providers and hospital.
