USD #115 Nemaha Central Schools is being proactive in looking for available space that we could use during modified quarantine periods. We currently do not have any active COVID cases or quarantines but that can change quickly. We continue to strive to have as many students as possible doing in-person education as long as possible. Hosting classes in a modified quarantine format is one more way we can achieve that goal. Modified quarantine is when a class or larger group has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID 19. Instead of having the group go to remote learning, the group is quarantined together in a space separate from nonexposed students and staff. The space would need to have bathroom facilities. The district is willing to pay for the use of the space and would be responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of the area. If you have space or have questions please contact Darrel Kohlman at 336-6101 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
