The seventh and eighth grade from Nemaha Central Middle School attended the Topeka Symphony on Wednesday, February 15. The Topeka Symphony was held at the Performing Arts Center in Topeka. At the symphony, the musicians played 7 different songs: Battlestar Galactica Theme by Stu Phillips, E.T. theme by John Williams, Mars, The Bringer of War and Jupiter, The Bringer of Jolity by Gustav Holst, and Star Trek Through the Ages by Alexander Courage and Calvin Custer. The Music director and conductor was Kyle Wiley Pickett. After the symphony, the students all met at Golden Corral, where they enjoyed lunch. This was a great learning experience for the students and staff alike!

"We had a really fun time and it was a cool experience!" said Ellie Mady.
