The Nemaha Central Scholars' Bowl regular season started on Thursday, February 6th. It was a good season for both the NC A-team and B-team. On February 6th, the first meet was held at NC and the  participating schools were NC, Frankfort, Wetmore, and Troy. The A-team started out playing Wetmore and won by 180 points, which was twice the amount that Wetmore had. Then, the A-team squared up with Frankfort. NC used their brains to their full potential, but lost with 100 points, as Frankfort had scored 110.

The NC B-team played Wetmore and won 80-70, as they pushed ahead in the game. Then, the NC B-team used the momentum to dominate over Frankfort with 110 points, compared to the Frankfort B-team's 50 points. Finally, the NC B-team, with all that was left in them, won a game against Troy, with 140 points, beating Troy by 50 points.

On February 9th, the second meet began at Onaga. The Nemaha Central A-team fought against Centralia and won 130-60. Next, the NC A-team played Onaga. NC took the victory with 90 points, when Onaga scored 70. Then, the NC A-team faced Saints Peter and Paul and came through victorious with 160 points, against SPPS's 60. Finally, the NC A-team confronted Onaga for a second round. They bit the bullet and triumphed with 100 points. Onaga scored 70 points.

On the same day, the NC B-team played a series of rounds. NC encountered Centralia, and won 90-60. Later, the NC B-team faced off against SPPS. Unfortunately, NC lost 60-50, due to a last-question tie breaker. NC grappled with Onaga after their first loss of the season. NC pulled through and won 90-40. On their last game of the day, they squared off against Centralia a second time. NC would not accept failure, and completed the game with 70 points, winning it over, as Centralia only scored 50.

On February 16, the last season meet was held at Axtell. The Nemaha Central A-team began by playing against Troy. It wasn't too close, though, as NC won 160-70. Next, the NC A-team played Axtell, the home team. The game was full of anxiety, as it was a really close game, but NC won 80-75, because Axtell lost 5 points earlier in the round. Finally, the A-team played their last season round, and faced Doniphan West. It took awhile for the game to progress, and it ended up in a tie, both teams at 100 points. NC won a tie-breaker question and won the game 110-100

The NC B-team played Axtell first. It was a quick match, and NC won 90-70. The B-team's last round was against D-West. NC tried, but fell hard, as D-West won. The score was 95-60.

The NC A-Team ended up going 9-1 on the regular season play, while the B-Team was 7-2.  Great job to the NCMS Scholars' Bowl teams!
