On Friday, December 9, the Nemaha Central Elementary School held the winter AR store. There were lots of items like drinks, candy, coloring books, sleds, craft kits, pillows, and stuffed animals. The 1st through 5th grade students are able to shop at the store with their AR points.  Some students had a lot of AR points for reading books and taking tests on those books. The AR store is funded by the Parent Teacher Organization and is used to help encourage students to read more.

Third grader Koree Stuke said,  "I liked the AR store."
