On Monday, November 21, the Nemaha Central Boys Basketball Team played against the Most Pure Heart Bobcats. In the A-team game,  Nemaha Central played pretty good defense in the first half of the game but were down by two at half time.  In the second half of play, the Thunder started getting sloppy with the ball allowing Most Pure Heart to score a little more and stretch their lead to 31-27 at the end of the third quarter.  In the fourth quarter, Nemaha Central tried to regain their confidence and it started to work for a little bit, but Most Pure Heart was too much for the Thunder to handle and they lost the game 38-30.  This was the first loss for the A-team boys making their record 2-1 on the season.

"We need to mentally become a team," said Ryan Lueger.

In the B-team boys game, the Thunder was not able to pick up the win. This makes their record 1-2 for the season.

Kaleb Reitz said, "We have to get better with our ball handling."
