On a cold afternoon, the Nemaha Central basketball team faced off against Onaga on Monday, November 14. The boys team consists of six 8th graders and fifteen 7th graders and the coaches this year are Mr. Cory Bass and assistant coach Mr. Tom Krause.

The Nemaha Central A-team played an outstanding game against Onaga and won 59 to 16.

Brady Stallbaumer said, " They started out tough but we got around them."

The Nemaha Central boys B-team started a little shaky at first because it was their first middle school basketball game.  However,  in the second quarter, Nemaha Central picked up their game and started playing together. Nemaha Central played well the rest of the game to claim  victory, 42 to 7.

Messiayah Nolte said, "We played really good and it was a great winning experience."

The Nemaha Central boys C-team played well with good teamwork.
