The Nemaha Central Elementary kindergarten through fifth grade celebrated Halloween with a class party on Monday, October 31. The students were able to dress up in their costumes when it was time for their Halloween party!

Some classes played a fun game called "Marshmallow Target!" and "Cup Relay." Some of the activities that younger students played were a few of the Minute To Win It games:  tossing a water bottle and landing it upright, putting spider rings on a straw, pulling all the strands of licorice off a twizzler pull and peel. They also made a pumpkin with pipe cleaners and beads.

Other parties included activities such as making spiders out of paper cups, googly eyes and pipe cleaners, witches from plates, and an eatable graveyard from pudding and gummy body parts.  The game they enjoyed the most was trying to eat a donut tied to a string with their hands behind their backs. There were lots of sticky faces and hair!!!  Other classrooms had students play a game where they tried to toss candy pumpkins into cups or feel in boxes and guess what was really inside. There were boxes of snot and boogers (really applesauce and raisins), witch's eyes (really onions), and several others. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Gabby Chapa, a third grader said, "We ate a lot of good snacks and played fun games!"

"We played Halloween Bingo and had a lot of fun!" said Carter Stallbaumer, first grade.

All students had a spook-tacular time at their parties!
