Students Competing in Envirothon

Six Nemaha Central High School students are competing in Envirothon this year. Enivothon a national environmental science competition. This year the NCHS students that are competing are Austin Schmelzle, Bryant Stallbaumer, Carmen Rivera, Zach Buessing, Katia Rivera, and Isaac Ganstrom. Last week, they competed at the regional competition at Red Rock Ranch in Soldier, Kansas and placed 10th out of 15 teams. It has been a great learning experience for everyone. Studets are looking forward to the state competition that we will attend on April 29 down at Camp Wood near Emporia.
